Dina Rickman recently announced that Rihanna is her new brand new hero….
The pneumatic pop princess’s work ethic over the past decade is certainly something to be admired and having turned out over 7 albums worth of hits, even a sad olde curmudgeon fella (ella) like myself could hum you a few of her more popular ditties.
Mind you I did find the reason for Dina’s new found admiration very odd altogether….
In her article rihanna has this response to allegations she took cocaine she celebrates the sexy songstress’s sassy retort to haters alleging that there is a video circulating online showing her partaking in a schedule II controlled substance. Her response was:
“Nigga your lame ass got some fucking nerve! Any fool could see that’s a joint that I’m basing with cigarette! Who tF snorts tobacco??!! FOH witcho “never been to a rodeo so someone squeezing their nose means they’re doing coke.’
‘She also followed up those comments with this quite wonderful picture’:
EYEisLibertarian so say good luck to Rih Rih in whatever lifestyle choices she choses to make on her journey through this life. Nevertheless, Dina’s latest effort to report on what’s #trendingwiththekids did seem slightly at odds with her more usual output.
YOLO Rih Rih
The Independent has always had a special relationship with cannabis and as the I-100 recently highlighted the fact there are much more dangerous substances in the world, or cocaine for that matter…
Nevertheless, given that you can still get a criminal conviction for possession of either and given that the average age of the Rih Rih navy is 12 to 13 years old, I know not everyone agrees that Rihanna is a great role model for the young naive minds.
By way of example, check out her video for hit song ‘pour it up’ which has had almost 160 million hits on you tube alone. Some may consider it offers some sage and empowering advice about feline fiscal frugality while having it large in the strip clubs BUT… if you watch very closely, you may notice that in a few (admittedly brief) scenes, Rihanna can quite clearly be seen smoking tobacco. A substance that is suspected to be responsible for almost 80,000 deaths every year in the UK alone.
What a time to be YOLO!
